Velynera Fit Guide

Find Your Perfect Fit

A great shapewear fit should feel secure and supportive without making you feel restricted. Taking a few accurate measurements before ordering can make all the difference.

Always use the product-specific size chart.

Sizing can vary between garment styles. After measuring yourself, compare your measurements with the size chart shown on the Velynera product page before selecting your size.

Step one

Take three simple measurements.

For the most accurate result, use a flexible measuring tape over lightweight clothing or directly over your undergarments. Keep the tape comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.

01

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust while keeping the measuring tape level across your back.

Keep your arms relaxed
02

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso. Keep your body relaxed and avoid pulling your stomach inward.

Do not tighten the tape
03

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

Measure the fullest point

Step two

Choose support, not restriction.

Shapewear is naturally designed to fit more closely than regular clothing, but choosing a dramatically smaller size does not necessarily create a better result.

01

Start with your measurements

Compare your bust, waist and hip measurements with the product-specific chart rather than selecting a smaller size solely for additional compression.

02

Between two sizes?

Consider the measurement that is most relevant to the garment's fit and avoid choosing a size that places you significantly outside the listed measurements.

03

Do not size down automatically

Selecting a smaller size than your measurements indicate may lead to excessive tightness, rolling or an uncomfortable fit.

04

Check adjustable areas

If your Velynera garment includes adjustable straps, use them to refine the fit around your torso and shoulders after putting the garment on.

Step three

How should it feel?

A sculpting garment should feel close and supportive, but you should still be able to move comfortably.

Signs of a good fit

  • The garment feels snug and supportive without sharp pressure.
  • The fabric sits smoothly against your body.
  • You can stand, sit and move comfortably.
  • The straps can be adjusted without digging excessively.
  • The leg openings remain secure without severe pinching.

Your size may be too small if...

  • The garment causes significant discomfort or pain.
  • You have difficulty moving normally.
  • The edges dig deeply into the skin.
  • The fabric rolls or bunches excessively.
  • You cannot comfortably close or position the garment.
